I've never been interested in images that are only beautiful.
What stays with me is usually quieter than that.
I'm interested in what remains after the obvious moment is gone. The atmosphere. The trace. The small emotional weight inside ordinary things.
The things most people move past too quickly.
Photography, for me, is a way of paying closer attention. A way of slowing down enough to notice what is already there, but easy to miss.
I'm not trying to make louder images, I'm making subjective truths.
