Field Assignment: Constructed Reality
Constructed Reality explores EPCOT not as a destination, but as a carefully engineered simulation of culture, history, and memory. Through a series of visual constraints, the assignment focused on photographing contradictions—real versus artificial, authentic versus staged, and moments where the illusion quietly begins to break apart.
Field Assignment: Ephemeral Garden
Morikami Museum - Ephemeral Garden explores what happens when photography stops chasing obvious beauty and starts observing change instead. Shot during a rainy afternoon at Morikami Museum and Garden, the project focused on impermanence; ripples, traces, texture, movement, and stillness through a self-imposed set of constraints designed to slow down perception and force deeper observation.
